THE SOPHIENPALAIS IN THE SOPHIENTERRASSEN
Historic entrance to a unique urban quarter
The three-winged Sophienpalais forms the historic entrance to the Sophienterrassen. Previously used as the Wehrmacht's location headquarters, later by the British military, and finally by the German Armed Forces, it has not only received a completely new purpose through the renovation of listed elements, modern additions, and expansion, but also a life-friendly lightness and elegance. Once you have left the monumental entrance portal behind, little reminds you of its martial use in the past.
AN ATMOSPHERE LIKE IN A GRAND HOTEL
The Sophienpalais has a whole range of special features that make life in this place so unique. It starts with its own concierge, who welcomes residents and their guests, accepts mail and deliveries, protects the privacy of residents, and provides them with a comprehensive range of services to help with all questions and annoying daily duties. An elegant lounge serves as a cozy meeting place where you can cultivate relationships, read, or celebrate together. Connected to it is a separate smoking lounge for cigar aficionados. In the wellness area, in addition to modern fitness equipment for body training, a sauna and a steam bath as well as infrared chairs are available on 600 m². And the weapons safe of the former location headquarters took over the function of a wine cellar in the Sophienpalais, where everyone can store their wines in their own lockable compartments.
